+++ June 2010: Full Power for Dock 100
From 1st June, PCS Power Converter Solutions GmbH will be a new tenant at Borsig Docks. The company’s field of expertise is the development and production of power converters and electric equipment for use in rolling stock, wind turbines and industrial applications.
In addition to offices at the Office Dock’s fifth level, PCS will also have numerous production, development and storage units at the Factory Dock and in terms of space leased will thus be one of Dock 100’s largest tenants.
+ + + December 2009: Organic Caterer in Dock 100
A great outlook for the new year: with Z-Catering, wholefoods will be making their way into the Dock 100 canteen – ideal for losing a bit of weight after the holiday season. This certified organic caterer will be producing an alternating lunch menu every day from 4 January 2010, making use of regional and seasonal ingredients from ecological producers, freshly and lovingly prepared. The gastronomy business uses no instant products and no flavour enhancers or aromatic substances of any kind.
To start things off, the Z-Catering team will be surprising its guests on Monday, 4 January, with a grand opening buffet.
+ + + November 2009: Factory Dock gets new layout
Big becomes small – Level 6 of the Factory Dock has been completely redesigned and since 1st November has been split up into diverse small units. Dock 100 is thus now offering small companies too its clever combination of office and storage / production space. The small units range from around 200 up to 450 square metres, some with more than one office. As an attractive extra, Dock 100 will also soon be offering a shared kitchen and a seating area for client reception, which can be used by all Level 6 tenants.
+ + + June 2009: Beer alert at the Veithalle
Beer rules at the Veithalle! Since June, the Veithalle East at the Logistic Dock has been shared by two beer wholesalers, Ambrosetti and Bierlinie GmbH. For Ambrosetti the decisive factor in deciding to relocate was the attractive storage space provided here. While the company, which is both a wholesaler and retailer, will continue to have its offices in the Charlottenburg district of Berlin, it is now storing over 600 sorts of beer plus fruit juices, mineral water and soft drinks in the Veithalle. Meanwhile, importer and wholesaler Bierlinie GmbH has moved its entire operation lock, stock and barrel from Moabit to the Borsighafen. “Fair rent, a nice complex, the proximity to the water and the central location with good transport connections” – these were the arguments that convinced the company that Dock 100 was the right place to be. Bierlinie markets over 200 types of beer from all over the world, plus numerous German speciality beers.
+ + + April 2009: New catering service at Dock 100
Since April, CucinArte by Giannini has been giving customers at Dock 100’s restaurant the opportunity to take an enjoyable break from work. The catering experts are, incidentally, also very sporty themselves as, in addition to their other business commitments, they are also responsible for the catering at the ISTAF, the Berlin Marathon and other major running events.
+ + + January 2009: All wired up
We also welcome as another new tenant Sumitomo Electric Bordnetze GmbH. The full system supplier for the international automotive industry has had its administrative base at the Office Dock since January and produces electronic wiring systems for vehicles at the Factory Dock.
